Our Story
Wit Beyond Measure is an Australian charitable organisation dedicated to promoting literacy, education and personal growth through the themes and lessons found in the Harry Potter series. Through analysis, discussions, workshops and events, we use the series as a foundation for building knowledge, developing literacy skills and fostering meaningful learning and growth. Our workshops and events use themes and characters from the Harry Potter series to explore writing, study skills, vocabulary, motivation, leadership and confidence in a way that’s engaging and accessible — all while raising funds to help the most vulnerable via partnerships with welfare organisations for children and animals.
Everything we offer online—including our articles, workshops, resources and challenges—is completely free. For those who’d like to support us, optional donations are always welcome. At our in-person events, we usually ask for a voluntary gold coin donation, with 100% of proceeds going directly to our charitable partners.
